Lesson 3: Chemistry in Daily Life

LEARNING OUTCOMES
• Apply chemical knowledge to everyday life.
• Conduct simple chemical experiments safely.
• Understand the relevance of chemistry in household tasks.

AIM OF ACTIVITY
The aim of the activity outlined is to engage learners in hands-on experiences that demonstrate the practical
applications of chemical knowledge in everyday life. Through conducting simple chemical experiments safely,
learners will not only observe chemical reactions but also understand how these reactions are relevant to
household tasks. By connecting theoretical concepts with real-world applications, the activity aims to deepen
students’ understanding of chemistry and its importance in their daily lives. Ultimately, the goal is to foster a
greater appreciation for the role of chemistry in solving practical problems and enhancing everyday experiences.
