About our project

How was Project Flipping born?

The COVID-19 crisis tested Europe’s education systems, revealing the rigidity of traditional institutions in adapting to online classes. The importance of mixed teaching models was highlighted and self-guided e-learning was found to have challenges such as abandonment and lack of motivation. Faced with this, the approach of inverted learning is presented as an effective solution, promoting the active participation of the student and the practical application of knowledge. This approach seeks to improve educational effectiveness and prepare students for future labour market demands.

Our principles

Active learning

We promote a participatory learning approach, where students are the protagonists of their own educational process. We encourage exploration, experimentation and discovery so that young people can actively and practically immerse themselves in knowledge.

Educational innovation

We are constantly looking for new ways to teach and learn. We adopt cutting-edge pedagogical approaches, technological tools and interactive methodologies to make learning a dynamic and relevant experience.

Integral development

We are concerned about the integral development of young people. In addition to providing academic knowledge, we promote the development of socio-emotional skills, such as resilience, empathy and teamwork, which are fundamental to your personal and professional success.

Diversity and inclusion

We value and celebrate diversity in all its aspects. We create an inclusive environment where every student feels respected, valued and able to express their individuality. We encourage mutual respect and the exchange of ideas between people of different backgrounds and perspectives.

We seek that the learning acquired in Flipping has a positive impact on society. We inspire young people to use their knowledge and skills to address social challenges and contribute to the well-being of their communities.

Inverted Classroom Project: Transforming Education through Innovation and Training

During the project life cycle, the consortium will achieve the following training activities and results

Improvement in the learning of students

360 students, including marginalized students, will have experienced an improvement in their learning by participating in the testing phase of the Inverted Classroom approach.

Trained vocational educators

60 frontline educators will have completed the in-service training program and improved their professional skills at the Reverse Classroom Workshop for Educators.

Training of educators

12 educators will be trained to deliver the in-service training programme during the Transnational Training Event.

Parental involvement

120 parents will have a valued role and their knowledge deepened after the Inverted Classroom Workshop for Parents.

Awareness of project results:

120 educators, students and policy makers will be aware of the project’s results during the Inverted Learning Festivals (multiplier events) in all partner countries.

Attendance at the Final Conference

80 educators, students and policy makers will attend the Final Conference where all the results of the project will be presented.
